With this heat wave, and some of our activities away from power sources, I bought a battery-operated window fan $17,

Runs either on 6 D batteries or electric power; $5 batteries keep it going 50 hrs.-- which covers a typical heat wave around here.

We were turning on a generator for small things when not near electric, not very efficient. While many of you already have solar power stored, some do not.

I want to explore the topic of small power storage, portable battery-operated/convertible devices. Power banks and things that can be plugged into them.

Imagine an evacuation situation, or a week-long outage... what portable/temporary devices will add comfort and convenience?
