I wonder about ground penetrating radar or something similar, where they can image underground for X amount of ?feet? or maybe high resolution thermal camera that could pick up the temperature of disturbed ground even long after something has been buried?. I feel like the technology has gotten small enough and cheap enough that they will use this rather than dogs, but with that being said I think they will use the dogs to "get a hit" so they can legally violate your rights.  anyone have ideals on tricking technology?

good idea, but they have been training dogs to sniff for coffee grounds for a while, RE: Pablo Escobar here is a little secret you might not know: a box made of 1/4 inch lead cannot be penetrated by prying eyes, in most cases just putting a sheet of lead on top of a buried box does the trick,, another little hack: thermal cameras can not see through glass and a suit made of (outer layer greenhouse type plastic, inner layer poly fabric treated with cornstarch and inner layer of greenhouse type plastic greatly reduces a human imprint down to a small mouse,, to make it a little more comfortable wear long sleeve shirt and pants,, extra little tip for hiding things from thermal - mix a box of cornstarch with elmers glue, smooth the slurry onto wax paper and place it in the sun to dry, (needs to be very dry and brittle) now crumble it up, skatter the chips on the ground over your foot prints or whatever you you want to camo from thermal cameras

Cornstarch -- interesting!
Coffee-- maybe deer repellent or other strong "natural" scents?

This might be off topic, but we often hear people ranting about government intrusion.... when historically, other nations are continually finding ways to gain power and influence.

That stretches our "what could possibly happen" scenarios. History and global news is full of abuse and oppression -- organ harvesting, human trafficking, medical experimentation, forced membership in militias... the unthinkable is already happening around the world.

Any of these could happen in our quiet woodlands and cities.
